Royal Institute branch school situated at No. 11, Hospital Road, Maharagama teaches from the Nursery up to GCE A/Level examinations in two streams, one based on the British curriculum for Cambridge examinations and the other on the Local Curriculum in the English Medium. Under Registration No E&QA-AL01, the Ministry of Education has granted permission to Royal Institute to present its candidates for Local A/Level examinations. Currently the school has a student strength of over 800.
Adequate infrastructure with spacious classrooms including a good school auditorium are available. Other resources include a well-equipped computer laboratory, science laboratories and libraries containing a full range of text books and other books are provided for the students to go through stimulating studies. The highly qualified Teachers maintain high academic standards in delivering the academic programme using modern teaching aids where necessary.
