Principal’s  Message – Havelock Town

Royal Institute, established in 1971, functions under the guidance and leadership of the visionary educator, Mr. G. T. Bandara. The Founder/Chairman’s dynamic vision has elevated the school to great heights.

Today, the Havelock Town branch has a whole host of facilities a school should have and the academic staff consists of highly qualified and experienced personnel who put in their maximum effort to help students obtain world prizes and country awards at Cambridge International Examinations. RI has produced not only outstandingly brilliant scholars but also world class players of table tennis, badminton, cricket and karate. All sports activities are conducted at the fully fledged, modern RI sports complex in Wijerama.

As of today, Royal Institute comprises five branch schools and the RIC, its own campus for higher education.  I am absolutely privileged to hold the position of Coordinating Principal of this magnanimous and eminent institution which is celebrating its 50th year of excellence.
