The Scouts of Royal Institute Maharagama embarked on an exhilarating educational journey as they visited the National Museum and the Natural History Museum, seamlessly combining learning with adventure. This special trip offered the young Scouts a unique opportunity to delve into Sri Lanka’s rich history, cultural heritage, and natural wonders while fulfilling the requirements for their Scouting Merit Badges.
A total of 20 Senior and Junior Scouts participated in this enriching experience. During the visit, they explored various exhibits showcasing the history of Sri Lanka, as well as plants, insects, and animals native to the country. By gathering data from these exhibits, the Scouts compiled detailed reports, helping them successfully meet the requirements for their Scouting Award.
